The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedicto Estebano was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Julio Costante's late challenge caught a Concepción's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Eustaquio Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Concepción's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Estebano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Eustaquio Batista sped through Alcohol en Gel a 1k FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benedicto Estebano. 47 minutes into the game, Teodoro Ayala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alcohol en Gel a 1k FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Concepción the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Alcohol en Gel a 1k FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Ayala to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Concepción were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Asteri made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Melquiades Ibar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Benedicto Estebano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ignacio Estebe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 69 minute of play. Eustaquio Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Benedicto Estebano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ignacio Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Concepción's Ignacio Estebe in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ignacio Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 92 in the game by Eustaquio Batista from a close distance when the talented Benedicto Estebano managed to make a qualified save. Alcohol en Gel a 1k FC's players were relieved. Nicanor Roland was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Nicanor Roland kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Alcohol en Gel a 1k FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Concepción were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
