Lázaro Haitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Rutenio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Vijarras Club's goalkeeper Abel Rutenio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lázaro Haitz. In the 13th minute, Cleto Raymon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Txindoki in the 18th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Justo Tibalt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Tibalt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Txindoki in the 20th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Saul Txindoki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justo Tibalt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 35th minute, one of Vijarras Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vijarras Club. Arnoldo Perfecto hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Zacarias Salvadore kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Txindoki was the one to do the kick off. Saul Txindoki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Tibalt having to interfere. When Mateo Benet came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Vijarras Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Benet couldn't finish the play. Mateo Benet's late challenge caught a Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Benet helped the player get up and apologised. Mateo Benet hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Abel Rutenio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Haitz in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Vijarras Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Benet to maneuver through the defense. Arnoldo Perfecto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abel Rutenio. Vijarras Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abel Rutenio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Raymon in the 65th minute of play. Saul Txindoki struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Justo Tibalt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vijarras Club. Zacarias Salvadore's late challenge caught a Vijarras Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Salvadore kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Ovidio Lain dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Justo Tibalt, 1-3. Vijarras Club played a much better game than Independiente and deserved their victory. The Independiente players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
