If Armando Jon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Dabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Alejandro Lixandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Don leone getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ramiro Roderigo hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Soconcho FC's Benigno Oriol broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Leandro Oskitz kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Benigno Oriol sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Don leone's Alejandro Lixandro didn't even have to move. Leandro Oskitz's late challenge caught a Soconcho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Oskitz helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 minutes of play Don leone's Leandro Oskitz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Leandro Oskitz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Benigno Oriol shot a long shot in the 18th minute and a light blocked Alejandro Lixandro hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. Dalmacio Fiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Alejandro Lixandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Don leone's Ernesto Harri got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Martxot hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ernesto Harri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Benjamin Nuxila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Soconcho FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Dabi made a kick off. The supporters of Soconcho FC booed when Don leone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Castel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dalmacio Fiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Don leone's Ernesto Harri got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dalmacio Fiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Lixandro having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Dabi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro Lixandro was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, Don leone's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Gerazan came free, but Alejandro Lixandro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Dabi in the 72nd minute of play forced Don leone's goalkeeper Alejandro Lixandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dalmacio Fiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Emanuel Dabi came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Soconcho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Dabi couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Don leone's zone, Dalmacio Fiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Lixandro came out of the goal and Dalmacio Fiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Harri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Nuxila having to interfere. Benjamin Nuxila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Harri, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The Soconcho FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soconcho FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
