Port Talbot C.F.'s Gualterio Efren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Henry in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Port Talbot C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Quintana came free, but Gualterio Efren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernabe Quintana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Efren having to interfere. If Alonzo Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alonzo Urbasa was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Bernabe Quintana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, one of Port Talbot C.F.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Port Talbot C.F.. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Vinalito FC. Moises Elequemedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gualterio Efren. 0-1. When Celedonio Maria fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Guerrero in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Americo Sol saved Vinalito FC from getting behind. Bernabe Quintana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Gualterio Efren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Manuel Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vinalito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Henry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Efren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 100 minutes, Aldo Guerrero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Port Talbot C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Guerrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vinalito FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
