An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Ihintza in the 15th minute of play forced Espartanos F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabricio Tiadoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Palomar F.C. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Nicolas Serafo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Aznaro in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Godoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erasmo Godoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Aznaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Aznaro in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Godoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ovidio Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Espartanos F.C.'s zone, Eduardo Raymundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Tiadoro came out of the goal and Eduardo Raymundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ovidio Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alejandro Guzman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

If Urbano Havier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Ihintza might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabricio Tiadoro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ovidio Ihintza ran back to his position shaking his head. Ovidio Ihintza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ovidio Ihintzas short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Fabricio Tiadoro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Ihintza got free with Fabricio Tiadoro in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th match minute, Espartanos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Estebe to maneuver through the defense. Alejandro Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fabricio Tiadoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Espartanos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Martxelin to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Nicolas Serafo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Dante Eguen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After having played for 82 minutes, Orlando Javiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palomar F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Javiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urbano Havier struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Fabricio Tiadoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palomar F.C.. Eduardo Raymundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Severino Conrao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Espartanos F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Palomar F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
