The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vinicio Toro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Lauro in the 13th minute of play forced cadena's goalkeeper Zacarias Licerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ricardo Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zacarias Licerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patagones. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zacarias Licerio made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Ricardo Lauro sent off a good shot on target. Patagones's Elvio Poncio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zacarias Licerio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Virgilio Tonete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute.
