Amado Thomas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Port Talbot C.F.'s Ruperto Vincent broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rodolfo Burni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gualterio Efren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 44 minutes, Alonzo Urbasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Port Talbot C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Urbasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Beat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Urbasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alonzo Urbasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Guerrero got free with Leo Beat in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aldo Guerrero might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Beat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
