But to his dismay, Ovidio Ihintza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ovidio Ihintza in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinicio Toro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Patagones defense, Nicolas Serafo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Toro. The Patagones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Toro should have stopped the shot. Vinicio Toro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Ihintza, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Ovidio Ihintza sped through Patagones's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vinicio Toro.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ovidio Ihintza to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match was over Palomar F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Patagones throughout the match.
