Donato Stephen came out of the goal and Ovidio Napier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urbano Clementi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, Gallo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Bastia to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Los Cuervos F.C booed when Gallo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Clementi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Sustrai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Cordairo's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Ovidio Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Stephen having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Los Cuervos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Eron to maneuver through the defense. Ovidio Napier's late challenge caught a Los Cuervos F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidio Napier helped the player get up and apologised. 44 minutes into the match, Gallo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Cordairo came free, but Saul Sustrai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Cordairo took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saul Sustrai. Saul Sustrai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The Gallo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Cuervos F.C were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ovidio Napier to make the kick off. Los Cuervos F.C's Donato Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Neron in the 52nd minute of play. Saul Sustrai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateo Cordero in the 53rd minute. Flavio Cordairo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Los Cuervos F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gallo FC's Saul Sustrai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Cordairo in the 62nd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Los Cuervos F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Napier came free, but Donato Stephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Cordairo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Sustrai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Flavio Cordairo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Sustrai having to interfere. The Gallo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Cuervos F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Cuervos F.C.
