Spectators: 7239 (Terracing: 5431, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Itacaruaré AFC's Eusebio Araoz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Chorache got free with Rosendo Frances in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute Segundo Francho suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Maximino Clis fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal Fútbol Club's protests and gave Maximino Clis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Itacaruaré AFC booed when Arsenal Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Clis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Emiliano Roderigo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santos Cordearo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arsenal Fútbol Club's Angel Miro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rosendo Frances but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Itacaruaré AFC's Tobias Santo got a free kick in the 12th minute. Marciano Bermund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenal Fútbol Club's Aquilino Muno got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santos Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Bermund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Umbruso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosendo Frances having to make a save. When Ramiro Chorache came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Arsenal Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Chorache couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Arsenal Fútbol Club booed when Itacaruaré AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Muno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Frances having to interfere. Ramiro Choraches short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Rosendo Frances to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ramiro Chorache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rosendo Frances tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebio Araoz charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Araoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Eusebio Araoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Chorache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aquilino Muno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute, Honorato Aires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute Arsenal Fútbol Club were awarded a corner. Angel Miro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Arsenal Fútbol Club's Angel Miro to fire away a dangerous shot which Rosendo Frances despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Arsenal Fútbol Club's Aquilino Muno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rosendo Frances narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramiro Chorache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Frances having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Itacaruaré AFC's Eusebio Araoz got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Arsenal Fútbol Club's Aquilino Muno in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itacaruaré AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquilino Muno in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Frances prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Honorato Aires kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Aquilino Muno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Frances having to interfere. After some careless play in the Itacaruaré AFC defense, Ramiro Chorache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosendo Frances. The Itacaruaré AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosendo Frances should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itacaruaré AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Frances, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eusebio Urtzi charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Urtzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Itacaruaré AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Eusebio Urtzi hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Ramiro Chorache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosendo Frances was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Rosendo Frances stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquilino Muno's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Joel Umbruso scored 2-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rosendo Frances, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Chorache in the 92nd minute of play forced Itacaruaré AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Frances to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Arsenal Fútbol Club's Aquilino Muno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rosendo Frances narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 97 minutes into the game, Arsenal Fútbol Club's Ramiro Chorache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rosendo Frances made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Arsenal Fútbol Club had won after a very even match.
