After a defensive mix-up in Itacaruaré AFC's zone, Valentin Aurken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Frances came out of the goal and Valentin Aurken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusebio Araoz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Dario Matxin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Itacaruaré AFC's Rosendo Frances played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Matxin in the 72nd minute of play.
