Itacaruaré AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Reserva the free kick. In the 70th minute, Segundo Francho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Frances having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Itacaruaré AFC's zone, Epifanio Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Frances came out of the goal and Epifanio Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. Domingos Bartoleme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute Itacaruaré AFC were awarded a corner. Emiliano Roderigo went to the cornerflag to take it. Marciano Bermund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingos Bartoleme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. La Reserva had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
