Americo Egun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Pirro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Charlone FC's Filiberto Costante slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Americo Egun. That made the score 1-1 after 46 minutes of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Pirro to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Charlone FC's Gaspar Enetz got control of the ball when Genaro Orland tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Charlone FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Manuel Urdaspal hit a great ball. Genaro Orland hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Leonel Pirro came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Charlone FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Pirro couldn't finish the play. Americo Egun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Pirro in the 63rd minute of the match. Filiberto Costante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Egun having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Charlone FC's Abel Guilabertus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Americo Egun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Pirro in the 80th minute of play forced Tomalon FC's goalkeeper Americo Egun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiberto Costante in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Americo Egun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tomalon FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Charlone FC.
