In the 26th minute of the match, Pedro Sagrario got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gaspar Enetz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gaspar Enetz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Patxi's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of C.A Freetanga:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Charlone FC:s goal. Gustavo Abajas charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Abajas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Charlone FC booed when C.A Freetanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Charlone FC got a corner. C.A Freetanga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonathan Osmundo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Charlone FC's Eliseo Gines got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Charlone FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Patxi came free, but Gaspar Enetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Sagrario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Gaspar Enetz made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Serafin Inge successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Luciano Patxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Leonel Pirro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charlone FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Pirro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charlone FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
