Ahmet Rıfat Dağdelen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Lugano Club. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Lugano Club's goalkeeper Damian Sayvion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benedicto Abajas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Damian Sayvion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Evelio Savion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Atletico Lugano Club booed when Olguin F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Felipe Feliz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ahmet Rıfat Dağdelen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ahmet Rıfat Dağdelen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Feliz in the 24th minute of play. Felipe Feliz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Rıfat Dağdelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Feliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Gerardo Maldonado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olguin F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Lugano Club the free kick. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Olguin F.C.! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Atletico Lugano Club. Raimundo Froila stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ahmet Rıfat Dağdelen. 0-2. Joel Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Sayvion having to interfere. In the 40thth minute of the game Melchor Ciano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Lugano Club's Damian Sayvion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Olguin F.C. got a corner. Atletico Lugano Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Moises Nesor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Moises Nesor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Damian Sayvion quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 42 minutes into the match, Benedicto Abajas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Damian Sayvion, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melchor Ciano to strike the kick off in the second half. Damian Sayvion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Damian Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Abajas in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Atletico Lugano Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Savion to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Melchor Ciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 73 played minutes, Olguin F.C.'s Moises Nesor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Damian Sayvion came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olguin F.C. reached it. Damian Sayvion came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Olguin F.C.'s Edgard Thomas. But to his dismay, Edgard Thomas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Evelio Savion hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd match minute, Olguin F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Nesor to maneuver through the defense. Benedicto Abajas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Damian Sayvion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Olguin F.C.'s Pedro Feliu got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Olguin F.C.'s zone, Felipe Feliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Rıfat Dağdelen came out of the goal and Felipe Feliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Olguin F.C. manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Atletico Lugano Club to win.
