Julian Orlandus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iraola. If Prospero Pacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Iraola's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dionisio Rolado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 41 minutes into the match, Iloponom's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Matteo came free, but Julian Orlandus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Joachim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Julian Orlandus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Santiago Joachim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Prospero Pacho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dionisio Rolado made a kick off. Iloponom's Julian Orlandus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Iloponom from getting a goal against them. If Santiago Joachim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Joachim in the 56th minute of play forced Iloponom's goalkeeper Julian Orlandus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Urdin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dionisio Rolado's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Ovidio Matteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Orlandus having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Froilan Larpe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iraola and the Iloponom players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Iraola's Froilan Larpe got a free kick in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Iloponom's zone, Ovidio Matteo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Orlandus came out of the goal and Ovidio Matteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Santiago Joachim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Iloponom getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ezequiel Fonso hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Iraola eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
