Leonel Baumer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Teo Hernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benicio Xacintu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 31 minutes, Danilo Bertol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaboto FC and the Capitan Frio players grew even worse after the yellow card. 34 minutes into the game, Fernan Hernando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capitan Frio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gaboto FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Capitan Frio's Fernan Hernando got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Teo Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermegildo Clemencin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermegildo Clemencin struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Benicio Xacintu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaboto FC. After the first half Gaboto FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Teo Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Teo Hernandez took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Benicio Xacintu to make any attempt to save it. After 63 played minutes Capitan Frio got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Rico. A hard shot by Severo Tipi from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Benicio Xacintu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Teo Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Teo Hernandez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ermegildo Clemencin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benicio Xacintu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Hernandez in the 79th minute of play forced Capitan Frio's goalkeeper Benicio Xacintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Capitan Frio's Benicio Xacintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Hernandez in the 82nd minute of play. Capitan Frio's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Teo Hernandez scored to the left of an out of position Benicio Xacintu, making the score, 0-3. A hard shot 88 in the game by Teo Hernandez from a close distance when the talented Benicio Xacintu managed to make a qualified save. Capitan Frio's players were relieved. Edelmiro Orlandus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Cresenciano in the 92nd minute of play. Tadeo Baristo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edelmiro Orlandus. Gaboto FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Capitan Frio fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gaboto FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
