Ovidio Matteo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Anselmo Quintun made a huge save. 5 minutes into the match, Matheu AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Joachim came free, but Anselmo Quintun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Quintun made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Ovidio Matteo sent off a good shot on target. Anselmo Quintun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Joachim in the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Ovidio Matteo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Anselmo Quintun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matheu AFC's Emanuel Terciero got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Emanuel Terciero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Uriel Barros fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iraola's protests and gave Uriel Barros a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Iraola getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Uriel Barros hit a great ball. Iraola's Moises Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Terciero in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Iraola's Ovidio Matteo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anselmo Quintun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Emanuel Terciero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Moises Urdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Matteo struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Anselmo Quintun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iraola. After 34 played minutes Matheu AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Bilbo. In the 39th minute Emanuel Terciero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes Iraola's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saul Merexildo who took care of the corner kick. After 44 played minutes Iraola got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Matteo. If Santiago Joachim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Terciero to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ovidio Matteo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Quintun was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ovidio Matteo's late challenge caught a Matheu AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidio Matteo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Matheu AFC booed when Iraola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Matteo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Emanuel Terciero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matheu AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Terciero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Urdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moises Urdin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Terciero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Matheu AFC's Emanuel Terciero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Terciero in the 72nd minute of play forced Iraola's goalkeeper Moises Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Matheu AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Joachim came free, but Anselmo Quintun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, Iraola's Ovidio Matteo made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anselmo Quintun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geronimo Senio kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Iraola booed when Matheu AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Adrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ovidio Matteo came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Iraola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Matteo couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute Ovidio Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Quintun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Barros in the 98th minute of play forced Matheu AFC's goalkeeper Anselmo Quintun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Matheu AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Iraola.
