After a rather tough play, Matheu AFC's Rodolfo Bilbo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ciro Oliviero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Anselmo Quintun made a huge save. Emanuel Terciero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Apolo Lorencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Aureliano Eutropio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anselmo Quintun, 1-0. A collision led to RIvErPlATE getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Cristian Gonsalvo hit a great ball. Saul Merexildo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ciro Oliviero kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Anselmo Quintun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remigio Gauargi went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Emanuel Terciero charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Terciero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 31 minutes into the match, Leonardo Gaskon sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Anselmo Quintun threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Leonardo Gaskon this time. Anselmo Quintun came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by RIvErPlATE's Cristian Gonsalvo. But to his dismay, Cristian Gonsalvo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Remigio Gauargi hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in RIvErPlATE's zone, Emanuel Terciero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Lorencio came out of the goal and Emanuel Terciero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Terciero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Lorencio having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remigio Gauargi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Emanuel Terciero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the game, Domingo Galindo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matheu AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RIvErPlATE the free kick. 53 minutes into the game, one of Matheu AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for RIvErPlATE. Camilo Teodor stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anselmo Quintun. 4-0. Aureliano Eutropio charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aureliano Eutropio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes RIvErPlATE got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Eutropio. Matheu AFC's Saul Merexildo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Apolo Lorencio but with some difficulty. Remigio Gauargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Quintun having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Terciero in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Lorencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Terciero kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Emanuel Terciero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Apolo Lorencio having to make a save. In the 78th minute, Cristian Gonsalvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, RIvErPlATE's Arnoldo Salvino got a free kick in the 80th minute. Apolo Lorencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Merexildo in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Gauargi in the 82nd minute of play forced Matheu AFC's goalkeeper Anselmo Quintun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Senio in the 84th minute of play forced RIvErPlATE's goalkeeper Apolo Lorencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Melchor Adrio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matheu AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RIvErPlATE the free kick. Melchor Adrio hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, Emanuel Terciero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Apolo Lorencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Matheu AFC's Melchor Adrio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Apolo Lorencio. Apolo Lorencio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. In the 98th minute, Rodolfo Bilbo made a precise shot to the right of Apolo Lorencio. RIvErPlATE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. RIvErPlATE were victorious despite being under pressure from Matheu AFC for much of the match.
