Ciro Oliviero kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Lino Cordarell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Apolo Lorencio made a huge save. Marcos Ordono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Lorencio having to interfere. In the 14th minute Lino Cordarell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Lorencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apolo Lorencio made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Lino Cordarell sent off a good shot on target. Hudson 09 FC's Antonio Pierres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Gonsalvo in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, RIvErPlATE's Arnoldo Salvino got a free kick in the 19th minute. Marcos Ordono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lino Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Lorencio having to interfere. Antonio Pierres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Eutropio in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Sindo in the 30th minute of play forced RIvErPlATE's goalkeeper Apolo Lorencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes RIvErPlATE got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Salvino. When Rodolfo Nel came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Hudson 09 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Nel couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Sindo got free with Apolo Lorencio in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lino Cordarell struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Apolo Lorencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hudson 09 FC. After a rather tough play, RIvErPlATE's Ciro Oliviero got a free kick in the 40th minute. Apolo Lorencio made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Lino Cordarell sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to RIvErPlATE getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ciro Oliviero hit a great ball. Apolo Lorencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Ordono in the 42nd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aureliano Eutropio made the kick off in the second half. RIvErPlATE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Camilo Teodor in the 53rd minute. Lino Cordarell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, RIvErPlATE's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Ordono came free, but Apolo Lorencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Ordono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Pierres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute of the match, Cristian Gonsalvo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Antonio Pierres saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hudson 09 FC's Antonio Pierres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Eutropio in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Lino Cordarell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hudson 09 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RIvErPlATE the free kick. Apolo Lorencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Cordarell's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Marcos Ordono took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apolo Lorencio. Apolo Lorencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 85thth minute of the game Lino Cordarell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RIvErPlATE's Apolo Lorencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 88 minutes, Isidoro Garaona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hudson 09 FC and the RIvErPlATE players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hudson 09 FC had played much better football throughout.
