To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the game, Guido Ermengol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Solingen Tandil FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Victorica FC the free kick. Guido Ermengol hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Solingen Tandil FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Rik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciriaco Danel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Gaskon's late challenge caught a Solingen Tandil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Gaskon helped the player get up and apologised. Jonas Sidoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luciano Rami was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Solingen Tandil FC's Generoso Cordarius got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Anselmo Rik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Sidoro in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Sidoro in the 63rd minute of play forced Solingen Tandil FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Rik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Perpinya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Anselmo Rik made a huge save. If Jonas Sidoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Solingen Tandil FC's Anselmo Rik got control of the ball when Severo Gitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victorica FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
