Remigio Mantzio's late challenge caught a Chacarita Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Mantzio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lotería FC's Remigio Mantzio got a free kick in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Melchor Petrigai notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lotería FC's Daniel Cordarrol. Daniel Cordarrol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Cordarrol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Petrigai in the 11th minute of play. Fermin Formerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melchor Petrigai scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Cordarrol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elias Jerardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Quentin in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute Melchor Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Cordarrol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Cordarrol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Petrigai, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 39th minute, Nemesio Onofre made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Cordarrol. Lotería FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celedonio Quentin was the one to do the kick off. Chacarita Juniors's Elias Jerardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Quentin in the 53rd minute of play. Elias Jerardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celedonio Quentin's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 63rd minute, Fermin Formerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Lotería FC's Daniel Cordarrol got control of the ball when Nemesio Onofre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francisco Lertxun kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes, Chacarita Juniors's Placido Luke shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Cordarrol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chacarita Juniors reached it. Celedonio Quentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Jerardo having to interfere. Daniel Cordarrol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Onofre in the 76th minute. The supporters of Chacarita Juniors booed when Lotería FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Berto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Jerardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Formerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celedonio Quentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Fermin Formerio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lotería FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3.
