Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ignacio Jakue, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 12th minute, Norberto Lehior got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Lidon kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Leo Tiadoro charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Tiadoro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Laoreo LP booed when Mervaleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Tiadoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Chus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Ricart in the 22nd minute of the match. When Gavino Bermudez came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Mervaleta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Bermudez couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the game, Gavino Bermudez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ignacio Jakue. Gavino Bermudez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Ignacio Jakue made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Herminio Cordaro sent off a good shot on target. Gavino Bermudez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leo Tiadoro struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ignacio Jakue didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mervaleta. When Gavino Bermudez in the 36th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Ignacio Jakue kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Gavino Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Jakue having to interfere. Ignacio Jakue was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 65 played minutes Mervaleta got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Lawrence. In the 67th minute Albino Soin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Chus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gavino Bermudez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mervaleta's Valentin Chus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Soin in the 82nd minute of play. When Leo Tiadoro, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 87 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ignacio Jakue was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gavino Bermudez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ignacio Jakue read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Gavino Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mervaleta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Bermudez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mervaleta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
