When Tobias Rainerio came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Caballa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Rainerio couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Gavino Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mervaleta's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Bermudez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Serafo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 11 minutes, Tiburcio Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caballa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Casado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 played minutes Mervaleta got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Cordaro. Caballa AFC's Arturo Serafo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Lehior in the 33rd minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiburcio Casado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavino Bermudez in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Serafo saved Caballa AFC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Gavino Bermudez sped through Caballa AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arturo Serafo. Norberto Lehior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Bikendi kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Mervaleta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
