Gualterio Brais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Silvestre Lizer came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Linch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Lizer couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Roosevelt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Mange came free, but Rogelio Seber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Linch booed when Roosevelt FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Olando didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvestre Lizer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 81st minute, Mateo Lando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute Fernan Tajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Gualterio Brais put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Linch:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Roosevelt FC:s goal.
