Filiberto Su made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Ricart in the 10th minute of play. If Francisco Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Dunixi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Francisco Abascal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ignacio Jakue. Francisco Abascal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Severino Dunixi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Jakue having to interfere. Filiberto Su showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Ricart in the 31st minute of the match. Filiberto Su made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Ricart in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Francisco Abascal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. boca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Abascal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucio Quico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Jakue having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Abascal made a kick off. Filiberto Su was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Wilfredo Sergi. After a defensive mix-up in boca's zone, Albino Soin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Su came out of the goal and Albino Soin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignacio Jakue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Abascal in the 73rd minute of play. Jeremias Ricart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albino Soin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filiberto Su read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Albino Soin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filiberto Su came out and tried to block the shot, but Albino Soin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 79th minute. Severino Dunixi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ignacio Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Albino Soin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albino Soin in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filiberto Su prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
