Roosevelt FC's Fernan Tajo got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Fernan Tajo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cipriano Orti was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Haritz was the one to do the kick off. Roosevelt FC were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Fages Athletic Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maximino Frances took the corner. Felix Bertran thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Cipriano Orti, a very annoying self made goal in the 80th minute which led to 4-1. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Fernan Tajo sped through Fages Athletic Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cipriano Orti. In the 90th minute Fernan Tajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Orti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernan Tajo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Cipriano Orti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Miguel Haritz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogelio Seber was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. There was no doubt that Roosevelt FC were the better team. Roosevelt FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
