In the 27th minute of the match Independiente Rey got a corner. F.C Luzbelito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Samuel Urritz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Independiente Rey's Rolando Arnas to a score. 1-0 in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Eriberto Gonzo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Samuel Odon, 2-0. If Eriberto Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C Luzbelito's Samuel Odon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Darien in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Florencio Cibran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C Luzbelito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente Rey the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Florencio Cibran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Esteve Oier made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Independiente Rey's goalkeeper Prospero Frasquito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Lastur. 53 minutes into the match, Antonio Lastur notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Independiente Rey's Prospero Frasquito. Prospero Frasquito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 61 minutes, Eriberto Gonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente Rey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Gonzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Odon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardo Darien went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Bernardo Darien kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteve Oier in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prospero Frasquito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuel Odon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Gonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Esteve Oier notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Independiente Rey's Prospero Frasquito. Prospero Frasquito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Independiente Rey had won after a very even match.
