An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Abeijon in the 16th minute of play forced Quemquemtreu's goalkeeper Jorge Urti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Quemquemtreu's zone, Florentino Abeijon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Urti came out of the goal and Florentino Abeijon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 minutes, Israel Michael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quemquemtreu and the Animán AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Quemquemtreu's Israel Michael got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Florentino Abeijon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 minutes, Horacio Egun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Animán AFC and the Quemquemtreu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Animán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Egun. Joel Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florentino Abeijon struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Jorge Urti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Animán AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorio Oriol during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 48 played minutes Animán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Oriol. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Joel Medero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quemquemtreu's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Medero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Baudelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silverio Ordono stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Joel Medero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Baudelio was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Florentino Abeijon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Silverio Ordono, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 65 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Osvaldo Baudelio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a little luck, Quemquemtreu's Jorge Urti got control of the ball when Feliciano Justin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st play minute Feliciano Justin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jorge Urti. 0-2. Silverio Ordono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Baudelio having to interfere. Osvaldo Baudelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Ordono, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Jorge Urti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliciano Justin in the 85th minute. Florentino Abeijon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 played minutes Quemquemtreu got a freekick which was hit by Dante Efraim. Quemquemtreu's Jorge Urti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Abeijon in the 90th minute of play. Joel Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Osvaldo Baudelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Animán AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
