When Clemente Celio fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente Rey's protests and gave Clemente Celio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Independiente Rey's Clemente Celio got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Eriberto Gonzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Erauso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Gaudencio Barea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Prospero Frasquito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Frasquito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Rexino in the 16th minute of the match. If Eriberto Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Celio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A. Huracan's Julian Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Gonzo in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Eriberto Gonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente Rey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Gonzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnaldo Macias hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Clemente Celio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Urritz in the 37th minute of play forced C.A. Huracan's goalkeeper Julian Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Dionisio Rexino put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Prospero Frasquito. In the 48th minute, Clemente Celio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

C.A. Huracan's Julian Erauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Huracan from getting a goal against them. Eriberto Gonzo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Julian Erauso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente Rey. Eriberto Gonzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dionisio Rexino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Prospero Frasquito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gerardo Gora sped through Independiente Rey's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Prospero Frasquito. Prospero Frasquito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Barea in the 75th minute of the match. Eriberto Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Erauso having to interfere. When Clemente Celio came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Independiente Rey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Celio couldn't finish the play. The corner led Independiente Rey's Samuel Urritz to fire away a dangerous shot which Julian Erauso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Eriberto Gonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente Rey's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Gonzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Erauso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, C.A. Huracan's goalkeeper Julian Erauso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Celio. In the 94th minute of the match Samuel Urritz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julian Erauso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
