When Samuel Cedro came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the De Zurda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Cedro couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, A.F. Argentino's Froilan Dominix got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

De Zurda's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Laureano Canor scored to the left of an out of position Apolo Quirce, making the score, 1-1. Laureano Canor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Apolo Quirce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Ermano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of De Zurda booed when A.F. Argentino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Dalmai didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomiro Ermano in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ladislao Rufio saved A.F. Argentino from getting behind. Alonzo Barrionuevo struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Apolo Quirce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.F. Argentino. In the 79th minute, Alonzo Barrionuevo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Angelo Tino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Ermano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Rufio having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Samuel Cedro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Zurda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
