Silverio Ordono started the match with the kick off. De Zurda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Medero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Medero got free with Apolo Quirce in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silverio Ordono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Quirce having to interfere. Esteve Nardo, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Silverio Ordono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Medero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Quirce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Jorge Urti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Cedro in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Quemquemtreu's zone, Baldomiro Ermano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Urti came out of the goal and Baldomiro Ermano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomiro Ermano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jorge Urti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomiro Ermano to make the kick off. 64 minutes into the match, De Zurda's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Ordono came free, but Apolo Quirce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Samuel Cedro managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Zurda's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Cedro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Urti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorio Fernendo's late challenge caught a Quemquemtreu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Fernendo helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes De Zurda got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Fernendo. In the 69th minute, Gaspar Estebe sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and De Zurda's Apolo Quirce didn't even have to move. In the 71st minute Dante Efraim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Samuel Cedro managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Zurda's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Cedro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Urti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th match minute, Quemquemtreu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Efraim to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 79 minutes, Baldomiro Ermano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Zurda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Ermano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Quemquemtreu's zone, Baldomiro Ermano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Urti came out of the goal and Baldomiro Ermano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Cedro might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Urti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuel Cedro ran back to his position shaking his head. Apolo Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Ordono, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Quemquemtreu's goalkeeper Jorge Urti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Cedro. For all the effort they put into the match, the De Zurda players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Quemquemtreu.
