Fortin F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Soin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Quexal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roberto Jerico hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Angelo Afonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Angelo Afonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Goito made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Urko during the 51st minute. Fortin F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Soin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 58 minutes into the match, Fortin F.C.'s Matias Eguntsenti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Quexal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodolfo Soin charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Soin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Octavio Goito struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Dionisio Etxatxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tablada AFC. In the 69th minute Javier Urko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Etxatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Tablada AFC's goalkeeper Ivan Quexal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Bras. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Afonso in the 77th minute of play forced Tablada AFC's goalkeeper Ivan Quexal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Matias Eguntsenti came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Fortin F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Eguntsenti couldn't finish the play.
