Eduardo Bras got in the 42nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Pedro Ekain handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Eduardo Bras struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Pedro Ekain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fortin F.C.. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Bras was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Eduardo Bras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortin F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Bras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Ekain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Froilan Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Ekain having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Momo Sampler's zone, Froilan Ekain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Ekain came out of the goal and Froilan Ekain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Froilan Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fortin F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Ekain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Fortin F.C.'s Eduardo Bras in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Eduardo Bras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Ekain having to interfere. Rodolfo Medero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Ekain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Bras, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Fortin F.C.'s Froilan Ekain got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the referee ended the match the Fortin F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
