Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cesar Kelemen started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Santos Incendio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apóstoles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fortuna the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Apóstoles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Incendio to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Fortuna's goalkeeper Narciso Jurgi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Lore. The nice shot from Pedro Lore in the 12thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Narciso Jurgi had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 14th minute, Pedro Lore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Jurgi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Arnulfo Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Jurgi having to interfere. Cornelio Oto, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Arnulfo Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Jurgi having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Arnulfo Astigar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apóstoles and the Fortuna players grew even worse after the yellow card. 36 minutes into the match, Fortuna's goalkeeper Narciso Jurgi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Lore. When Apolo Bihar fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortuna's protests and gave Apolo Bihar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Arturo Rodriguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Lore who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Narciso Jurgi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Pedro Lore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnulfo Astigar to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Arnulfo Astigar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Jurgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesar Kelemen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejo Fraco having to make a save. 55 minutes into the game, Apóstoles's Pedro Lore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Jurgi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to Apóstoles getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gaspar Kaiet hit a great ball. Arnulfo Astigar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Narciso Jurgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Lore in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Jurgi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnulfo Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Jurgi having to interfere. Narciso Jurgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Lore, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Kaiet during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fortuna booed when Apóstoles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Kaiet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Jurgi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Lore in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Lore in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Jurgi saved Fortuna from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Lore in the 78th minute of play forced Fortuna's goalkeeper Narciso Jurgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Lore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Fortuna's Gualterio Azibar got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Astigar notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Fortuna's Narciso Jurgi. Narciso Jurgi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arturo Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fortuna's Gualterio Azibar got a free kick in the 94th minute. Apóstoles walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
