Pedro Ekain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Goito, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Javier Urko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Javier Urko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Tablada AFC booed when C.A. Momo Sampler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Eztebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Jerico, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Octavio Goito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tablada AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Goito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Ekain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tablada AFC's Ivan Quexal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Raphael in the 22nd minute of play. Teobaldo Raphael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ivan Quexal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alejandro Tximitx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Quexal was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. The supporters of C.A. Momo Sampler booed when Tablada AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Frasquito didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Alejandro Tximitx got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, C.A. Momo Sampler's Paolo Todor got a free kick in the 67th minute. Tablada AFC's Javier Urko got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Octavio Goito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Ekain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Goito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javier Urko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Ekain having to interfere. Alejandro Tximitx scored 0-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Quexal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Octavio Goito came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Tablada AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Goito couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Tablada AFC's zone, Salvador Tancredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Quexal came out of the goal and Salvador Tancredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Ekain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Urko in the 93rd minute of the match. The C.A. Momo Sampler supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.A. Momo Sampler would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
