The Hector Tajo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Guaberto Goiz's late challenge caught a Apóstoles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Edelmiro Tulio fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Pedro Lore might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hector Tajo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Lore ran back to his position shaking his head. Apóstoles's Arnulfo Astigar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 41st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Pedro Lore in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hector Tajo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Astigar in the 46th minute of play forced Cavour's goalkeeper Hector Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Apóstoles fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cavour had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
