Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ávalos's Francisco Erasto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gogo Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Apóstoles's Cornelio Oto tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Arnulfo Astigar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Astigar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Ariel Toli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Pedro Lore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Silvanito's late challenge caught a Apóstoles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Silvanito helped the player get up and apologised. Fausto Silvanito hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Lore got free with Ariel Toli in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Arnulfo Astigar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute Francisco Erasto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Fraco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Lore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Toli having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Apóstoles's Gaspar Kaiet got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Pedro Lore came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Apóstoles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Lore couldn't finish the play. Ariel Toli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Astigar, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Arnulfo Astigar made the kick off in the second half. Ariel Toli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Lore in the 52nd minute of play. Ariel Toli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Lore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Apóstoles's zone, Constantino Txaran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Fraco came out of the goal and Constantino Txaran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casimiro Olivar charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casimiro Olivar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ávalos getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Casimiro Olivar hit a great ball. Arnulfo Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Toli having to interfere. Pedro Lore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Toli having to interfere. Ariel Toli came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Apóstoles's Arnulfo Astigar. But to his dismay, Arnulfo Astigar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 76 minutes, Cornelio Oto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apóstoles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Oto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute Pedro Lore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pedro Lore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Lore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ávalos's Ariel Toli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Astigar in the 88th minute of play. In the 94th minute Arnulfo Astigar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
