In the 22nd minute, Salvador Lon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute Salvador Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gabriel Garaile fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Rejunte F.C's protests and gave Gabriel Garaile a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, El Rejunte F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Garaile to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dante Florinio made a kick off. Augusto Frichoso charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 67th minute, Blas Modestio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateo Nicholas came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Buffeteros's Salvador Lon. But to his dismay, Salvador Lon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to El Rejunte F.C getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Eulalio Rozarius hit a great ball. In the 76th minute of the match Buffeteros got a corner. El Rejunte F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hugo Donostia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hugo Donostia made a great header on Buffeteros's corner, it was just that El Rejunte F.C's Mateo Nicholas managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Modestio in the 87th minute of play forced El Rejunte F.C's goalkeeper Mateo Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Lon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Mateo Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
