The supporters of El Rejunte F.C booed when Malligasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Dacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Anastasio Oliverio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Malligasta's Paulino Leheren didn't even have to move. Alvaro Dacio was shown his second yellow card after 9 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Malligasta's Paulino Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Florinio in the 11th minute of play. Higinio Ondino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Paulino Leheren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dante Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Florinio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th match minute, Malligasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Jon to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Calisto took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Nicholas. Mateo Nicholas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 28th minute, Nestor Txanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Florinio in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulino Leheren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Fabio Marcones fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malligasta's protests and gave Fabio Marcones a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Malligasta's Fabio Marcones got a free kick in the 35th minute. Malligasta's Paulino Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Florinio in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Malligasta's zone, Dante Florinio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Leheren came out of the goal and Dante Florinio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Ondino got free with Paulino Leheren in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Paulino Leheren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Venancio Calisto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulino Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Ondino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, one of Malligasta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for El Rejunte F.C. Anastasio Oliverio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paulino Leheren. 1-1. Paulino Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Florinio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Higinio Ondino struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Paulino Leheren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Rejunte F.C. The audience was convinced that Dante Florinio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulino Leheren was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Dante Florinio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Leheren having to interfere. Higinio Ondino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Rejunte F.C's Mateo Nicholas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save El Rejunte F.C from getting a goal against them. Mateo Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Venancio Calisto sent off a good shot on target. If Higinio Ondino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Ondino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Leheren having to interfere.
