An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Mero in the 11th minute of play forced Tellier AFC's goalkeeper Marciano Ciceron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Santiago Loren fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tellier AFC's protests and gave Santiago Loren a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Tellier AFC got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Loren. 17 minutes into the match, Tabaquillo's goalkeeper Claudio Senio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Goren. Claudio Senio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Gamus in the 18th minute of play. Claudio Senio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carolo Goren in the 19th minute. Marciano Ciceron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Paublo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Senio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tellier AFC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carolo Goren was the one to do the kick off. The goalkeeper, Marciano Ciceron, was totally fooled by Tabaquillo's Natalio Ereinotz, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Carolo Goren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Claudio Senio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tabaquillo booed when Tellier AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Peio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tellier AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tabaquillo the free kick. If Carolo Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tellier AFC's Marciano Ciceron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Tellier AFC from getting a goal against them. Daniel Mero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marciano Ciceron came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Mero slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 84th minute. The supporters of Tabaquillo booed when Tellier AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Fidencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tabaquillo were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Tellier AFC's much stronger midfield.
