The goalkeeper, Atilano Abad, was totally fooled by DEPORTIVO PROMETEO's Aquilino Osoitz, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, boca juniors's Godfredo Matai got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Emanuel Erlantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Erlantz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casimiro Lapurdi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Santos Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Osvaldo Astigar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Casimiro Lapurdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacobo Liher to strike the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Lapurdi having to interfere. In the 59th minute Adrian Lidon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Lapurdi having to interfere. Atilano Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Liher in the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, DEPORTIVO PROMETEO's goalkeeper Casimiro Lapurdi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Erlantz. Osvaldo Astigar hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Jacobo Liher came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the DEPORTIVO PROMETEO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Liher couldn't finish the play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. DEPORTIVO PROMETEO were victorious despite being under pressure from boca juniors for much of the match.
