Spectators: 7284 (Terracing: 5465, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) Tellier AFC's Carolo Goren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carolo Goren in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Leheren saved Malligasta from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Malligasta's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Goren came free, but Paulino Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Malligasta's Venancio Calisto got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Alvaro Dacio fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malligasta's protests and gave Alvaro Dacio a yellow card for diving instead. Alvaro Dacio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Marciano Ciceron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Venancio Calisto in the 20th minute. After 23 played minutes Malligasta got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Dacio. 24 minutes into the match, Carolo Goren notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Malligasta's Paulino Leheren. Paulino Leheren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carolo Goren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marciano Ciceron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Venancio Calisto in the 31st minute. Carolo Goren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Gamus in the 35th minute of play forced Malligasta's goalkeeper Paulino Leheren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Tellier AFC got a corner. Malligasta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amador Peio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Tellier AFC booed when Malligasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Dacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Goren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gregorio Gamus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Carolo Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paulino Leheren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregorio Gamus went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute, Benicio Jon made a precise shot to the right of Marciano Ciceron. Tellier AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Carolo Goren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulino Leheren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Gregorio Gamus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Calisto in the 74th minute of play forced Tellier AFC's goalkeeper Marciano Ciceron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Venancio Calisto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Ciceron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Malligasta's zone, Rogelio Esdras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Leheren came out of the goal and Rogelio Esdras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carolo Goren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Paulino Leheren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tellier AFC's Rogelio Esdras got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Venancio Calisto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Carolo Goren came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Tellier AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Goren couldn't finish the play. Paulino Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Esdras in the 96th minute of the match. Carolo Goren took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulino Leheren. Paulino Leheren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Tellier AFC played a much better game than Malligasta and deserved their victory. The Malligasta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
