With an all-out effort, DEPORTIVO PROMETEO's Paulino Leheren threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jacobo Liher, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Malligasta's Paulino Leheren got control of the ball when Adrian Lidon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Malligasta's Nestor Txanton got a free kick in the 45th minute. With a little luck, Malligasta's Paulino Leheren got control of the ball when Aquilino Osoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

DEPORTIVO PROMETEO's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Lidon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Leheren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venancio Calisto scored 1-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casimiro Lapurdi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gualterio Afonso fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malligasta's protests and gave Gualterio Afonso a yellow card for diving instead. Gualterio Afonso hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Aquilino Osoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulino Leheren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Malligasta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
