Paulino Leheren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruperto Abalos in the 16th minute. Ruperto Abalos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Paulino Leheren made a huge save. Javier Oliviero kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Venancio Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Casado having to interfere. Venancio Calisto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benicio Jon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulino Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Abalos in the 54th minute of play. Erasmo Herauso took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulino Leheren. Paulino Leheren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Jon in the 63rd minute of play forced Zonca F.C.'s goalkeeper Timoteo Casado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Erasmo Herauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Casado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Venancio Calisto in the 68th minute. Malligasta's Paulino Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Herauso in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Malligasta getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Benicio Jon hit a great ball. Alvaro Dacio kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Dante Garikoitz, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Venancio Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Casado having to interfere. Erasmo Herauso kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When Venancio Calisto came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Malligasta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Calisto couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Zonca F.C.'s zone, Venancio Calisto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Casado came out of the goal and Venancio Calisto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zonca F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Malligasta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
