Gualterio Estefan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Oalo having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Condor got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Eliu. A collision led to Lagunillas getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Arsenio Nevada hit a great ball. Remigio Ibañez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Nevada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Figueroa hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Leobardo in the 36th minute of play forced Condor's goalkeeper Remigio Ibañez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 69th match minute, Condor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Gorri to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Condor's Teofilo Gorri got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lagunillas's Esteban Leobardo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Remigio Ibañez. That made the score 0-1 after 75 minutes of play. 83 minutes into the match, Lagunillas's Esteban Leobardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Ibañez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 87 minutes, Gualterio Estefan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Condor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Estefan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Lagunillas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
