Rafaela's Dario Harkaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Lain in the 13th minute of play. Dario Harkaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Cordera in the 19th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Emiliano Cordera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rafaela's Dario Harkaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emiliano Cordera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Harkaitz having to interfere. Dario Harkaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Cordera in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Emiliano Cordera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rafaela's Dario Harkaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Christian Lain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dionisio Natanael hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Dario Harkaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Cordera in the 30th minute of the match. Christian Lain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Emiliano Cordera sped through Rafaela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dario Harkaitz. Christian Lain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Harkaitz having to make a save. If Emiliano Cordera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rafaela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palermo FC were winning 0-1.

In the 51st minute, Emiliano Cordera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Dario Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Palermo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rafaela throughout the match.
