When Rafaela's Damaso Rameriz in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uturango FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Oliverios in the 23rd minute of play forced Rafaela's goalkeeper Dario Harkaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Raymundo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Eguzki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Harkaitz having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Rafaela's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Oliverios came free, but Dario Harkaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Reynaldo Eguzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Marco Oliverios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uturango FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Oliverios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Harkaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reynaldo Eguzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dario Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Harkaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Eguzki in the 38th minute. If Reynaldo Eguzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Damaso Rameriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Bertran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Bertran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Dantae in the 46th minute of the match. In the 49th minute, Damaso Rameriz made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Bertran. Uturango FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half Rafaela were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Dantae was the one to do the kick off. Dario Harkaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Oliverios's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Juan Dantae managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rafaela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Dantae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damaso Rameriz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ismael Bertran made a huge save. Reynaldo Eguzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dario Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Marco Oliverios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elpidio Fidele during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Reynaldo Eguzki might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dario Harkaitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reynaldo Eguzki ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Dantae in the 90th minute of play forced Uturango FC's goalkeeper Ismael Bertran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Dantae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Bertran having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rafaela had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
