Fabian Blasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Cordera in the 14th minute of the match. Fabian Blasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Lain, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Marcial Goi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Chacabuco getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Leonardo Roland hit a great ball. Christian Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Felix Conrao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Firmo in the 42nd minute. When Christian Lain came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Palermo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Lain couldn't finish the play. Christian Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fabian Blasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chacabuco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Goi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th match minute, Palermo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Piarres to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute of the match Lisandro Feo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Conrao skillfully saved the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chacabuco's goalkeeper Fabian Blasi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anselmo Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Palermo FC booed when Chacabuco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Illan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Conrao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Firmo in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Christian Lain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Blasi. Chacabuco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Lain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Palermo FC played a much better game than Chacabuco and deserved their victory. The Chacabuco players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
