Anastasio Duardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marco Oliverios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Duardo having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Basilio Mendebal made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Uturango FC's Ismael Bertran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristo Lorien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ismael Bertran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uturango FC's Ismael Bertran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Ferdinand in the 31st minute of play. Basilio Mendebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Marco Oliverios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uturango FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Oliverios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Duardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiburcio Ignado kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Marco Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, one of Uturango FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Ismael Bertran, was totally fooled by AporellosFC's Patricio Dominix, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Marco Oliverios made the kick off in the second half. When Victorio Resto fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uturango FC's protests and gave Victorio Resto a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Uturango FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Resto. Anastasio Duardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Eguzki in the 56th minute. In the 59th match minute, AporellosFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Ferdinand to maneuver through the defense. Marco Oliverios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Duardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Reynaldo Eguzki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victorio Resto kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 78th minute Basilio Mendebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Bertran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Lorien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Uturango FC's goalkeeper Ismael Bertran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Basilio Mendebal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AporellosFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Mendebal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Eguzki succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 93rd playminute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
